The cruises with the Tourist ferry to Lysebotn & the Pulpit rock are now sailing daily on the scenic Lysefjord. You can sail from Stavanger or Lysebotn, if you want to experience the spectacular nature and history of the fjord. What to do in Sirdal in July/August :: In Sirdal we offer you exciting daily activities this summer. New Sirdal brouchure 2009/10 :: The new Sirdal brouchure for Sirdal 2009/10 is now ready for downloading. Re-opening of the Suleskar Road :: If you want to go for a scenic drive, the mountainpass between Sirdal and Setesdal is now re-opned for the season. The mountainpass to the Lysefjord opened already in the end of April this year, and its 27 hairpin bends from Øygardstøl to the Fjord is a drive not to miss! Sirdalsdagane 2009 :: Sirdalsdagane is the largest cultural event in Sirdal. This year the event is held the weekend of September 4th-6th |

The tourist information at Kvæven is open daily from 9am to 5pm. The tourist office in Tonstad (at Ousdal Hotel)is open daily from 10am-5 pm from June 22-Aug 23rd. June 19th-21th & Aug 21th-23rd Guided hiking trip from Ådneram-Taumevatn-Storevatn-Svartevatn. Price: nok 700/1000 (member/non-member)incl. transport, accomodation in mountain huts, two dinners and guides. Get yourself ready for the annual bicycle race along the mountain pass Suleskarvegen from Lysebotn to Bryne. The distance of the race is 144 km, whereof the first 15 km has a height difference of 932 m!
